"Hi , my name is Dwayne. I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons since 1985 and started his journey with the original edition of the game and have been playing and following the game through all of its editions. Almost all of those years has been spent in the Dungeon Master seat guiding players through adventures and teaching the game to new generations of the hobby.
It wasn't until I graduated from Sprott Shaw's Special Education teaching program that I decided to combine my love for the hobby into a platform for education and developing social skills with neurodiverse youth.
Dubbed a "Lifetime DM" within the gaming community, my talent for crafting amazing worlds and telling equally exciting stories is now introducing a new generation of gamers to this amazing game.
Growing up in the 80's means I have a love for pop culture whether that be Star Wars, Transformers, and even Anime. I am also an avid trading card gamer ( sorry I dont play Pokemon) as well as a passionate miniature war game hobbyist ( Warhammer and beyond!)
I still take time out of day to watch cartoons and find new shows to inspire me in creative ways.
Teaching is a passion of mine and you will not find a more patient person on the planet. Questions feed my soul so ask lots and never be afraid to pause and inquire.

Maverick Games guides its students through the imaginative process of creating characters that resonate with them and help them embody the game worlds we create. Not only are they adventuring together in a fantasy world but the players forge friendships outside of the game.
